Wireless Water Level Monitoring System ensures the health of the lakes, streams and rivers within is as much a responsibility to local, state regulating department. The specifics of stream or river monitoring system will depend largely on the requirements of the project, as well as site conditions at the waterway. An effective Monitoring system should be based on the regular collection of stream level and stream flow data. This can be done through routine monitoring, in which operating personnel make visits to stream gage and precipitation measuring sites, but a real-time monitoring system with telemetry can make data collection easier and, in many cases, more cost-effective allowing for the fastest possible response to a flood event.
The System uses Water level sensors with radar technology provide a non-contact alternative to other level gauging methods such as submersible pressure transducers, allowing for monitoring in hard to reach locations. Telemetry provides access to data in real time. ALERT transmits monitoring data using wireless communications via GSM radio frequencies as Short Message Service (SMS) on regular intervals and also at the time of water level raise over pre-set level.
